FAQ's
Why work with Jayne?
Great question! Truth is we all connect with different people. One of the most important parts of therapy is connecting with your therapist to build a genuine therapeutic relationship. Jayne could be your cup of tea (see what I did there?) if you enjoy a counselor who is going to challenge you, use humor, and likes collaboration. Jayne has tattoos, loves practicing yoga, is a fan of a good pair of Doc Martens and is always exploring new music. Jayne also loves to learn and believes that being authentic is a super power.
P.S. : I ain't embarrassed if you don't vibe with me, I just want you to get the support you deserve. If we don't fit I will gladly recommend you to another therapist!
What should I expect in sessions?
At Spilling the T.E.A you should expect to be treated with compassion and respect.
Within the initial session we will explore what brings you into therapy and what goals you may have, whether we are a good fit and how we can best help you within your healing journey.
Following sessions we will begin getting into the nitty and gritty. Challenging questions will be asked and plans will be made. All working on connecting you back to YOU. This is where you will get to explore emotions, build insight, identify triggers and plan use of coping skills. Each session will be different in gaining movement towards beneficial change, whatever that may mean for you in the moment.
Do you see clients in person?
